Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, downloading, or using GhostAssist ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not purchase or use the Software.

2. License Grant

Upon purchase, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use GhostAssist on one (1) Windows machine at a time. This license is perpetual for the version purchased.

You may not sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, or otherwise commercially exploit or make available to any third party the Software or your license.

3. License File (.dat)

Your license file is cryptographically bound to your machine identifier at activation. You may reset your activation once every 30 days via the customer dashboard to transfer your license to a new machine.

You are responsible for keeping your .dat file secure. Do not share your license file with others.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use GhostAssist to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Deceive parties in legally binding proceedings where disclosure of AI assistance is required.
  • Circumvent any examination or assessment process in violation of that institution's explicit rules where you have agreed to comply with those rules.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software.

Use of GhostAssist in job interviews, internal meetings, personal productivity, and similar contexts is permitted and expected.

5. AI Model Usage

GhostAssist uses third-party AI model APIs (including Anthropic's Claude). Your queries are subject to Anthropic's and other providers' usage policies. We are not responsible for AI-generated content or the accuracy of answers.

6. Privacy

Session data is stored locally on your machine. We do not upload, store, or process your meeting content on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. Refunds

If GhostAssist does not function as described and the issue cannot be resolved by our support team, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase. Refund requests must be submitted to support@ghostassist.fokastechtips.top.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected. The stealth overlay is designed to work with screen capture tools available at the time of release — future OS or application updates may affect its behavior.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GhostAssist and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Software.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered customers.
